Yes, it’s still super cold outside but I can promise you that Summer is just around the corner. Before we know it we will be drastically pulling our cutest Summer outfits out of our wardrobes. So I’m decidedly going into pre Summer mode right now…
Having grown up by the beach and loving water so much, the one thing that has always been an issue is the right thing to wear over a swimsuit. Not necessarily a dry one but a wet one. Hands up if you’ve ever gone for a swim and then someone you are with decides to go for lunch straight after. Resulting in you sitting at the table feeling like you’re taking part in a wet t-shirt competition.

The One Beach Dress I Won’t Go Without this Summer
The dress is from an Australian brand Es Una
I love the story of how Es Una began:
Es Una started when the founder (Lyndal) was holidaying with family.
Her teenage daughter wanted to upgrade her rash vest. They shopped all over Phillip Island (off the coast of Victoria, Australia) and couldn’t find anything to suit. It had to be t-shirt style , loose fitting but with a sense of teenage cool.
Fast forward and, after searching the world, scanning the internet, seeking designers and learning about local manufacturing and fashion, Es Una was born.”
It’s exactly this story that inspired me to do the photo shooting with my own teenage daughter… (thanks for joining in Cassia xxx)

Seriously…with all the dresses available, THIS is the one beach dress you won’t go without this summer.
In general, proportions are so important and some people look better wearing a Maxi.

Thanks for your comment – the reason this is the one beach dress I won’t go without this summer is because it is made out of special fabric like bathing suit material so it drys super fast and is perfect to slip on after swimming.
The cut is such that it doesn’t matter what shape you are it will still look good on you – smile!
