Off the Shoulder Must Have: Ageless Style Linkup

Hi Everyone,

Today is the first Tuesday of the month so welcome to  the June Ageless Style theme: Off the Shoulder – a trend that can not be missed for summer 2017!

Who would have thought that off the shoulder would be a must have? Going through old family photos from the 1970’s – I was convinced this was when off the shoulder was first worn. My Mother swears she never wore off the shoulder then – apparently it was nothing my Dad liked. Made me laugh as my hubby now hates anything off the shoulder on me too. Yet here we are – off the shoulder is in full swing and no wardrobe is complete without a piece! So I am sorry dear men but you are going to have to persevere this time round as we lovingly subject ourselves to fashion!

Back to the Linkup – it’s about 10 ladies, showcasing their version of this theme in their ageless style. It’s always exciting to see what each of them come up with. We never share photos beforehand so it’s a complete surprise to us all – I love the fact that we all come up with something so different and end up inspiring each other in new fashion directions.

Off the Shoulder Must Have: Ageless Style Linkup

Off the shoulder is a definite must have this season – dare to wear it as it really does suit any shape and size!

Visiting NZ right now I of course have to showcase another Antipodean  – as in Australian design label  Indikah. A totally new label to me but certainly has a few fun designs.

Can you believe it’s actually Winter here in NZ right now. Standing on a wharf in Napier. I guess in reality we were simply lucky it was a sunny morning.

Do you think there is a chance of a suntan even though it’s Winter? In any case if there is one trend not to be missed this Summer it is off the shoulder!

These pictures were taken in Napier – a lovely Art Deco city situated along the East coast of New Zealand – definitely worth a visit!
