Hi Everyone,
Back from New York, a flood of photos and the trends start to pop out as I write this overall summary of New York Fashion Week Street Style. Curious to find out what we’ll see in Milan next week.
Cream / off-white was a big theme this season. Note the no bra trend featuring even more. If you’re going to see the bra don’t wear it – seems to be the rule of the season.
Other colours would be green, blue and orange. Styled either as an overall look or pop of colour. Can’t reiterate head bands and animal print enough – almost as staple as your classic black.
Bags are cute but not too cute. Looks like we’ve finally realised they need to be big enough to hold essentials. Anything too big however and you’re already off the radar when it comes to bag trends. Even the Italian Vogue editor was wearing a cross body so don’t let anyone tell you these are out!
Maxi dresses are still on the roll as are black biker shorts teamed with either oversized white shirts or long blazers. Sparkle outfits are especially hot.

Interesting to see the difference between US style and European . I think we much classier this side and also Europe seems to be ahead with the trends . It seems what we in Europe are trying hard to forget is only catching on in the US now . Great article love the photos x
Thank you so much dear Nadia x
Fantastic photos Yvonne ! Love seeing street style from all different places !
Iโll always be more impartial to European style , it appears to me , much more polished and effortless …the โolderโ lady you photographed, just had to be European ! Canโt wait to see Milan !!!
