Lucky for me Spring 2022 is all about hot pink. A great colour as it will turn heads and suits every skin complexion. I think it’s safe to say that the colour basically suits everyone with the exceptions of red heads potentially needing to be careful of how they wear it.
My love affair for Spring however doesn’t just stop at the colour pink…

My Current Spring Love Affair
My current Spring love affair is also about comfortable chic. Wearing what feels like lounge wear but certainly doesn’t look it.
The blazer is back this Spring but it doesn’t need to be stiff and uncomfortable. There are many labels out there creating comfy stretch blazers that feel just like wearing a cosy knit, only they certainly look more chic.
The blazer in todays outfit is from Avant Toi at Maison Gassmann and also looks great teamed up with wide legged jeans and loafers or sneakers. The importance here is to either make sure the wide legged jeans totally cover your sneakers, making them invisible. Alternatively make sure there is a sight gap between sneakers and jeans so that an ever so slight piece of ankle is seen.
Teaming pink with pink however as in todays look with matching coloured trousers means heels are of the essence. It is the heels that extend the legs and truly perfect the total chic look of this outfit.
Another hot trend for Spring 2022 is the matching bag. We are moving away from concentrating on wearing matching bags and shoes. This Spring is all about having bags that match your whole outfit – regardless of colour.
