My 4 Cosy Winter 2019 Favourites

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to December, can’t believe we are already in the last month of 2019! Each Winter I have my favourite items that come with me for every mountain trip – last Winter it was a black sweater, white trousers and Ugg boots… see here.

This season Winter white and neutral tones with a touch of red are my favourites.

My 4 Cosy Winter 2019 Favourites

1. Cosy Hat

For some reason this year I seem to have replaced my baker boy hat to a large extent with this knitted cosy pompon beanie. Although I am sure the baker boy hat will be coming out again too.

The pompom beanie hats are not necessarily as easy to get right as you might think. It’s important to try them on. Get a colour that works well with your hair and skin tones. Go for a chunkier knit for a more funky look – smile!

2. Cosy Sweater

This Winter I seem to be living in cosy sweaters and skinny trousers in my free time. Winter white is my favourite this season.

This one was gifted to me a few years ago by Whistles but here are a few others I spotted online for you:

 

3. The White down jacket

White down jackets have been my favourite for ages – even my favourite ski suit is mainly white with touches of grey.

This jacket was also gifted to me a few years ago by Peak Performance. It is however still going strong, looks like new and must be the warmest thing I have ever owned!

4. Cosy boots with a nuance of red

My heart simply melted when I spotted these wonderful Rossignol boots…maybe because they are a part of the so called “Auckland” collection – Auckland being the city I grew up in.

They are super comfy, water proof and have the cutest nuances of red on the sole and with the laces…
