Hi Everyone,
Each year I reflect on what my main learnings of the past year were. These are cornerstones I take with me for future years. I’m sharing them with you as you might also find these learnings useful.
They might seem pretty obvious when you first read them however the reality is that we often go through life missing the obvious.
If you have any of your own learnings you wish to share please do feel free to leave a comment at the end of this post.

My 3 Biggest Professional Learnings from 2025!
1. Trusting Feelings of Intuition
Once again it was hammered into me that I really simply need to trust my gut feelings.
Relying on intuition can help make sense of a confusing situation, often by picking up on patterns that may not always be obvious at face value. Also if you have a feeling that you don’t want to do something then listen to yourself. Be true to your inner feelings.
In fact looking back, every time I did trust my inner feelings I never regretted it after!
Going forward I will be sure to simply trust my inner feelings – smile! BTW sometimes you can’t explain the reason for these to others but that doesn’t matter – stick to your feelings.
2. The Power of Setting up Corporate Principles!
I have had my strict company principles from the very beginning.
It has always felt good sticking by these principles. in particular this year I was very happy to have them as they enabled me to make an important strategical decision. I didn’t have to justify myself or over think the situation – I could simply state this was not in line with my company principles – such an empowering statement!
Principles can be anything you choose them to be and it is proven in general that people who live by a set of principles are in general happier and more successful in what they do.
3. Learning and Being Ready for New is a Must
Especially in the influencer/blogazine world where new influencers pop up every day. Content seems to get better by the second and technology is constantly updating. Not to mention the effects of AI.
However it is not just in this world – every business needs to be flexible and able to adapt to new trends, customers demands.
Something new can also be fun – I for one am looking forward to a few new projects next year so stay tuned – smile!
