Welcome to 2020! I hope you all had the most exciting New Years Eve! FunkyForty has now officially reached it’s 5 year Anniversary! Amazing how fast time flies – especially when you are doing what you love!

Perfect time to reflect on my favourite outfits of 2019! Do you wear the same outfits year on year or tend to update them all a little to accommodate new trends? I often look back at previous seasons outfits for initial inspiration…

The dress above was the Christmas present from my Mum – you can never have enough cute Summer dresses right – smile!

Fall/Winter

Maxi dresses were a real favourite in 2019!

I just love this one size fits all dress from Paradis des innocents, every piece I own from this shop lasts years, never seems to date and simply fits wonderfully.

Love this dress and rich velvet blazer from Caroll have been favourites to combine with other items too, but I do love them teamed with rich velvet headband and biker boots.

 

Australian Fashion featured quite large on FunkyForty in 2019 and this black Violet Fish sweater was one of my favourite looks of the year!

There’s something so special about wearing heels, bare legs and a brightly coloured coat – this pink look continues to be a favourite.

 

Spring/Summer

Spring 2019 started with a love for green. Green trench from Tara Jarmon, trousers and top several seasons old.

This red dress from Elisabetta Franchi was certainly the one I really did get the most complements for all year.

A close second has been this lovely maxi dress from Phisique du role.

This lovely white linen dress from Kamare has been a real favourite of mine too. Perfect for trips to France late Summer…

This is such a special look which I wore to the Summer party at Vitznauerhof – found at Vivian Graf.
