Hi Everyone,
Day 1 Milan Fashion Week SS25 started earlier than usual with the Fendi show being both a day early and in a new location. Hence a somewhat different buzz around Milan than in previous years. Making me for one curious about how the rest of the week will go. Is Fashion Week Milan changing along with the current Luxury Market segment or is it simply a little confusion about the change in schedule?
This having been said, there was still some great trends to be spotted on the streets. To make things clear for those of you new to street style – in general that seen on the streets one year will be based off the trends spotted down the runway the previous season. Meaning Milan Fashion Week Street Style SS25 is a great place to get inspiration for what’s most likely to be out on the high streets this Fall/Winter 24/25.
Spotting the fashionistas outside the shows of day 1 Milan Fashion Week SS25 the trends quickly become very clear. It’s all about boots, belts, blazers, big bags and leather. Grunge is most certainly out as is the tracksuit. This season we are chic, showing shape and ready to conquer the world!

Oh dear, I just bought two pairs of baggy jeans. Chic and showing shape are not involved here. Oh well, I’ll just have to accept that I am a (slow) trend follower instead of a trend setter LOL.
