Milan Fashion Week Street Style FW 2026 – Days 3 & 4 Top Picks

Hi Everyone,

…and just like that days 3 & 4 Milan Fashion Week brought out colour onto the streets. So many beautiful looks that made me feel truly hopeful for a wonderfully colourful Spring ahead.

Todays’ street style picks were spotted outside the Max Mara, Anteprima, Sportmax, Blumarine and Gucci shows.

Trends ruling the streets of Milan for Spring 2026:

Oversized anything – be it trousers or jackets. However the trick is to still maintain some shape in your outfit at the same time. This might be by belting at the waist, tucking into waist or teaming baggy pants with a skinny top.

Convertible bags – well not really but many bags are worn both as hand bags or under the arm as a clutch. To carry these under the arm properly, I was told by a true Milanese, to simply pretend you’re holding a pillow. This will make me want to simply fall asleep on my bag I am sure – haha!

Kitten heels and boots over pants. Wearing heeled sandals with coats are all shoe trends worth noting.

Pops of colour – if you choose to wear an all black, grey or neutral toned outfit, be sure to team it up with a pop of colour somewhere. Sweaters worn over the shoulders are a thing this season. As are colourful bags. Outside Prada we saw a wonderful assortment of colourful long leather gloves being worn. This season I decided to give Prada street style its own feature so stay tuned for this coming up in my next article.

Burgundy leather – a favourite of the season. This made me wonder if it was in support of Anna Wintour who was once again spotted at Milan Fashion Week wearing her burgundy leather coat.
