Hi Sweeties,
What a day, photographed 3 shows and loads of Street Style. The trends are interesting this season. Amongst that sea of black – so typical for this time of year – are the definite trends that are either a little new or here to stay yet another season.
Snake skin, (faux of course), boots are the new must have item for every wardrobe. This print in general has taken over from the leopard skin print we’ve seen the past few seasons. New is that many boots were seen worn over trousers. The move to dress up rather than down continues with a minimum feature of jeans – unless they are white or cream. Trousers are either wide leg, boot cut, leggings or pleated and then tapered at the bottom.
Belted waists remain hot on the trend list but belts are getting slightly wider. The good news for those that don’t like this look, is that the oversized blazer/suit also continues as this seasons ever popular goto item.
Gucci saw it’s muses featuring pattern mixes whilst the rest of the fashion crowd is moving more towards plain fabrics or asymmetrical patterns. Beautiful flouncy blouses with big bows at the neck floated down the streets as did plenty of suede or leather neutral toned jackets.
So now it’s time for you to have a look at “Milan Fashion Week FW 2020 – Street Style Highlights Day 1” for yourself…. note, all photos taken by and property of FunkyForty GmbH.
