Hi Everyone,
The recent development of luxury knitwear trends is superbly interesting. Luxury knitwear outfits are something that seem to have blossomed. Now that the tracksuit and pyjama trends have pretty much exited, the fashion world seems to have come up with a much more chic solution to comfort and style in one.
Voila! We are talking about whole knitwear outfits. 2026 is all about wearing whole outfits made out of merino wool. It’s all about layering. Being careful to combine complementary colours whilst retaining a certain amount of colour blocking. Working with a variety of structures in an outfit for interest. Today I’m wearing an outfit from the luxury knitwear brand Viamaro.
About Viamaro:
Valentyna Romanenko is the founder and creative force behind Viamaro, a knitwear brand she launched over a decade ago to craft timeless pieces for women who value effortless elegance and uncompromising quality. Her guiding belief? That no woman should ever have to choose between style, comfort, and confidence.
I’m personally a huge fan of the knitwear. The fit is just right – elevated yet easy. My tip? Start with one of the curated sets available online. It’s the kind of piece that makes you feel special, wherever you wear it.
The brand has just opened its first showroom in Bern, Switzerland— Tscharnerstrasse 1, 3007 Bern, Switzerland.

Luxury Knitwear Layering Trends for 2026
1. Finishing the look with a long knitwear coat
The long knitted coat is a definite wardrobe staple for 2026. Plus the best way to style it is over more knitwear.
2. Careful colour mixes
Monochrome always goes well for knitted outfits. However to add a real touch of your own personality it’s good to mix 2 colours that complement each other well. I’ve decided to go for burgundy and camel. A funkier version of black and white one might say.
3 Cape with tube skirt
I remember tube skirting through my younger years and it does feel a little funny seeing them come back again. But on the other hand I am also super happy to see tube skirts again. I always had great fun playing with the lengths of mine. Wearing them rolled up at the waist to knee length was one of my favourites as was deliberately wearing them very low on the hips.
Capes make for a fabulous addition to any tube skirt as the slim line of the skirt allows the cape to showcase its true beauty.

4. Let a different coloured jumper sleeve show through
It always adds interest having two striking tones meeting each other at the arms….

5. Throw a sweater over shoulders for effect
Remember when we didn’t dare simply throw pullovers over our shoulders and had to wrap them around our hips instead? Well it’s now totally accepted. My personal favourite is to roll them up and wear them around my neck as a scarf – so handy as you can always switch and wear as a jumper for added warmth, or substitute as pillow for long travels.
