A cropped blazer is truly one of the most versatile pieces anyone can have in their wardrobe. It’s also a true Spring 2024 hot piece.
Often we associate cropped blazers with having to show off mid-riff. However this is truly not the case. They also look great over a dress for example.
At the same time I’m on a mission here to tell you all, it doesn’t matter how old you are – if you still have the figure you can still show off your midriff. Those days are over when baring skin is only a privilege for the young. Today, 2024, it is for both the young and the young at heart! I promise you that each Fashion Week in Milan and Paris I see at least one beautiful older woman baring her midriff! If they can do it in Milan and Paris then so can you, no matter where you are!

How to Style a Cropped Blazer
My personal favourite way to style a cropped blazer is with a volumes tulle skirt. The combination always makes for such an easy goto dressed-up outfit.

3 simple ways to style cropped blazers (other than the tulle skirt):
- Over an office dress
This is also a great option if you are going out in the evening after work. Simply pop a skirt into your bag and change after work. Two outfits in one day in a matter of seconds!
2. With high waist wide leg trousers.
The combination of the cropped blazer over the trousers will dress up any wide legged trouser beautifully. Make sure though that the trousers do not have a paper bag waist.
3. Over a slip dress
In fact cropped blazers really are the best thing to wear over a slip dress as longer blazers tend to take the elegance and slinky mood away from the dress.
Beware of:
Beware of teaming cropped blazers with skinny jeans/pants. This can look good on some people but if you don’t have the perfect figure this can easily go wrong.
