Hi Everyone,
Max Mara is one of those brands which if you do buy you know it will last for many years to come. There is a certain timelessness about Max Mara pieces. The quality of the both fabrics used and the making are superb.
Sometimes however it takes a little imagination to think of how to really style these dresses. Remember a dress should never be judged by what it looks like on the hanger. It will always look different once worn.
This post shows how I would wear 3 Max Mara dresses that are currently on a whopping 30% sale online and in store at La-Tienda.

Dress 1: Aere
This cream button down dress is one of the most versatile pieces you can own.
Wear it simply on its own teamed with pumps or high strappy sandals for the office. Alternatively wear it over any other outfit as a light summer coat. Or wear it as seen here over jeans.
Dress currently available online, on sale here.
I recommend wearing it with this cute MARJANA VON BERLEPSCH bag that can convert from cross body to easy shoulder bag in the evening…

Dress 2: Sesamo
One of the things I love most about this dress is the actual fabric. It is made up of 2 dresses, an under garment and the overlay. Both are a beautiful lightweight, largely cotton fabric.
The lightness of this dress will let it float giving away some body shape yet being flattering at the same time.
The most beautiful thing you can ever do to a black Summer dress is to team it with black sandals or slides. Heeled or not – is up to you.
This dress is available online on sale here.
Hat also available at La-Tienda.
Dress 3: Tolmin
To be honest I believe this dress was designed to be worn without a belt. If you’re taller than me (162cm), it would also look great without a belt. However for us shorties this belt really gives the dress a special lift.
I love wearing knee high suede boots with shorter Summer dresses. Of course on a super hot day the boots would be replaced with simple flat black slides.
This dress is available online on sale here.
Which is your favourite dress out of these three?

I love all the dresses and especially the last one. IYou might be right about the design being without the belt but I like it better with the belt. I would love it for myself too but I have no waist, and you need that.

Personally I think the first dress would look fabulous on you.
You could wear it with some of your bright orange earrings and shoes…I have a vision 😉
