Travelling for work I always like to get away with hand luggage only. It’s important to choose clothing made out of good quality materials such as cool wool to avoid looking like a crumpled mess.
I’m now going to lead you through a 5 day week away with packing list at the end – perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to think about what they need to pack on their next business trip 😉
Monday
Travel day – am meeting people in the office for the first time today so am dressing as corporate as possible:
Trouser suit and shirt BOSS, have especially chosen this shirt to travel in as it does not crease.
Tuesday
Don’t want to seem like I have only packed suits so I will wear a dress today.
Dress BOSS. Necklace MaxMara
Wednesday
We have a board meeting today so am going to wear a skirt suit. The jacket is the same as that worn other days as the suit comes with both trousers and jacket. Depending on how I feel and how cold it is I will wear a blouse under the grey short sleeved top – probably not the necklace for the meeting.

Thursday
We are going out for dinner tonight so I still want to look corporate but with a funky twist (this is allowed even in the corporate world – smile)
Depending on the office mood I will either wear the fur jacket all day or wear the blazer during the day and switch to the fur jacket in the evening.

Friday
Travelling back to Zurich today and it was so cold on the plane last time that I am dressing for a bit of extra warmth today. I have left myself an option of two different outfits as I never know whether I feel like wearing a skirt or trousers on the plane – depending on how long the flight is.

Toiletries / Underwear / Sleep wear / Hairbrush / Makeup / Credit Card (for emergency)
All clothes with exception of white shirt and necklace borrowed from Modissa – my favourite place in Zurich for buying corporate clothing – super nice changing rooms and I love the way the people working there keep on coming with new suggestions / options without me having to make that embarrassing (often half naked) step back into the shop floor – smile.
