Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the first Tuesday of the month – Linkup time (last months linkup here). This months theme being how to extend your wardrobe by wearing things differently. I think I must have had a premonition about this as the photos in todays post are from a little fun styling done in June. Pictures taken in Southern Switzerland, Lugano, by a dear friend of mine.
Each month 10 ladies showcase their version of our monthly theme. It’s always exciting to see what each of them come up with. We never share photos beforehand so it’s a complete surprise to us all. I love the fact that we all come up with something so different and end up inspiring each other in new fashion directions.
The linkup is at the end of this post so make sure you stay tuned 😉
How to Extend your Wardrobe by Wearing things Differently
You may have seen this skirt of mine before – a favourite picked up in Milan one fashion week. Worn here classically with blazer and striped top, both Anja Schierholt.
So here you see the difference it makes by simply closing the jacket. It suddenly becomes that much more formal.
Then there’s this dress which has a whole post dedicated to it – see here
Would you ever think of combining the skirt and dress together? In a creative moment this is what happened:
Now it’s your turn to see if you have any dresses you can turn into tops or vice versa! Have fun and feel free to send me any great looks you create.
Dress – Anja Schierholt (where to buy here)
Sunglasses – Andrea Moore
Skirt – souvenir from tiny boutique in Milan (similar available here)

Yvonne!! What an incredible idea. I’ve layered a skirt over a dress before, but not pulled it up to be more of a shirt!!
You blow my mind with this!!

Thank you dear Rachel!
Seriously! That is every bit of fabulous. I’m almost certain I have a dress in my closet that would work as a blouse/tunic over a skirt. Looooooove it!
OOOOH Daenel, can’t wait to see it in this case!
xoxo
