Hi Everyone,
This season, tartan and tweed are not just back—they’re rewriting the rules of fall fashion. I love the fact that these wardrobe staples have once again made it to the hot trend list.
The key always when staples move back up the trend rankings is to reinvent how you style them. The exact same pieces you wore years ago can look ever so much more exciting by adding a simple styling twist. Today I’ll show you some tips for tartan and tweed.

How I’m Styling Tartan & Tweed for Fall 2025
Tartan Scarf
For Fall 2025 I’m thinking less about countryside classic, more boho-pirate chic. My key piece? A tartan scarf worn boldly as a head wrap. Knotted at the nape for just the right dose of rebellion – smile.
For those of you that don’t like wearing scarves over your head, another fun way to wear your tartan scarf this season is to simply tie it around the handle of you bag. Letting it simply being that piece which gives your outfit a special touch.
Tweed:
When it comes to tweed my instant goto has to be the tweed vest – these are so versatile. I’m wearing mine now with a statement white blouse/shirt. Then as the temperatures cool down I’ll pair it with a lovely tweed blazer, suede boots, and a flouncy knee length skirt to channel that effortlessly eclectic vibe.
The look is unapologetically expressive—perfect for both town or countryside!
Once again:
If you’re in Zurich, there’s no better place to dive into this trend than the newly opened House of Scotland store. Because here’s the thing: tartan and tweed never date. They evolve. They adapt. And this fall, they’re taking us on a stylish adventure—one scarf, one blazer, one sweater at a time.
