When we think of merino wool we often think of huge oversized sweaters, cosy knits or tight turtle neck sweaters. The idea of having whole chic outfit made out of merino wool is new even to me. A concept that I have however recently adopted.
All I can promise is that once you try this out you will be hooked. Looking stylish and feeling cosy plus comfortable was never so easy as it is now. All thanks to Viamaro – a lovely merino knitwear brand that I recently discovered.

How I’m Styling My Merino Wool for Autumn 2025
First look – for date night:
I love teaming these woolen trousers with a sleeveless long vest and then a dark top underneath for date night.
The top I chose underneath is purposefully a little transparent to give it that evening out vibe.

There’s something about this vest that makes any outfit look expensive. I also team it with jeans and even over skirts.

Second look at home:
This is a great outfit for when guests come for dinner. You look chic but in actual fact are just as comfy as if you had stayed in your tracksuit – smile!
Alternatively as we spend more time indoors because of the dreary weather outside I like to get dressed up at home too – it is good for the soul.
The good thing about living in Switzerland is that most homes are cosy warm inside, even through the cooler months of the year. The wool has a certain warmth to it – enough to be able to wear the look without anything underneath. This even adds a little more “chicness” to the whole outfit.
