How I Wear Pink & the Latest French Trench Trend

And just like that the most amazing Spring/Summer weather is upon us here in Europe and it’s time to get those pretty pink dresses out once again.

At the same time when the wind blows it can still easily get a bit nippy. Therefore it’s handy to have a light jacket or trench coat handy. This is where my latest Parisian discovery comes in – how the French are wearing their trench coats in 2025.

The dresses in today’s article are from one of my favourite shops – CW-Design. This is a shop based in Zollikon, Zurich specialising in colourful leather dresses as well as many other pretty dresses including those I am wearing today. Next trip to Zurich I can really recommend visiting CW-Design. There is pretty much something to suit every taste. Every piece is limited so the chances of someone else wearing the same as you are next to none.

How I Wear Pink & the Latest French Trench Trend

Showcasing 4 ways I’m wearing pink this Spring:

1. Wearing Pink Easy

Lets’ start with simply going tone in tone – making sure shoes and bag are in the same tones of the dress.

This is super simple styling but works every time to get across a polished look.

 

2. Worn with Trench

Watch here – this is how we are used to wearing trench coats:

However the Parisians / French have now devised a much cooler way to wear your trench coat during Spring:

It’s the tucked back effect that holds by simply closing one of the buttons of the trench behind your back instead of in the front.

This way you still have the added warmth of a trench and the back looks well dressed but whatever you’re wearing under the trench remains on display. No more hiding a pretty dress under a trench necessary!

Try it next time you’re out on a slightly chilly Spring day…

 

3. With a Denim Jacket and Navy Sneakers

You’re probably heard me say this time and time again, however adding an element of matchy matchy to your outfit will always make you look better dressed.

The blue sneakers tie back with the jacket giving a different overall feel to the outfit than with the heeled sandals.

 

4. Pink and Green

There’s something about this dress that made me want to team it up with dark green accessories. Probably the bits of dark green in the floral pattern of the dress itself.
