Saturday was the big evening – 9 beautiful contestants up on stage competing for the title of Miss Earth Schweiz 2017. A title founded by Tanja Marcic and Tommaso Longo De Tommaso in 2006. Both are so passionate about their cause and really believe in using beauty to help others.
Miss Earth Schweiz not only about being pretty, these women have to both lead a sustainable lifestyle and want to make a real difference to the World. The chosen winner will spend the coming year representing Switzerland for various charities making the World a better place to live in.
Highlights of Miss Earth Schweiz 2017
As with all shows there’s a lot more happening behind the scenes than what you normally get to see…
Hair and make up before the show – you could see the contestants were exhausted from all their boot camp trainings, nervous and yet at the same time excited.
It seemed like an army of people helping everyone get ready…
Wow these dresses – amazing, can’t wait to see them being worn!
Thats me dressed, ready for the show to begin.

The 4 semi finalists are chosen. Each of these 4 receive a title but only one will become Miss Earth Schweiz.
The tension rises and 4 become 2…
Then Miss Earth Schweiz 2016, Manuela Oppikofer comes on stage.
Such a moving moment for her as a small video is shown of the highlights of the past year.
