Hi Everyone,
This was an exciting week for Zurich’s fashionistas with the Mode Suisse Edition 11 show.
Mode Suisse held bi-annually in Zurich and Geneva, providing a platform where local designers can make themselves known. It’s also the meeting place of anyone somehow connected to the Fashion industry in Zurich.
I always love seeing the new collections and looking back this weeks show’s has got to be my favourite so far. Puffer jackets, shoes with fur and hot pink featured huge. Yellow was also an item – reiterating the fact that everyone needs a piece of yellow in their wardrobes – smile!
Have a look at highlights from each of the 11 designers showcasing their collections.
Highlights from Mode Suisse Edition 11
Julia Seemann
Bringing in a lot of red and letting us all know over the knee bots are here to stay!
Lida Noba
Lots of lovely yellow brought into her collection this season!
Garnison
Making a statement with his classic longer jackets for men – I enjoyed the teaming up of petrol with black.
Studio Winkler
Swiss but based in Berlin, I love her collections more each time I see them.
Lyn Lingerie
Awesome every year – I hear her collections will soon be available in Breuninger in Germany – well done!
Head – Geneve
Showcasing masters students Jérémy Gaillard, Flore Griard de Langlade and Vanessa Schindler.
Ensoie
A Zurich favourite – the shop is always worth going into for both fashion and nicknacks, I love their ceramics!
Pink and yellow came through this collection but even more so the statement that it’s still OK to wear flat ballerinas!
Adrian Reber
His collection appeared a contraditction of society with the Caveman fur and sandal look followed by an air of “Royal” with rich golden colour and silk fabrics.
Wuethrichfuerst
Based in Basel, Wuethrichfuerst’s collection was a total play on colour with geometrical designs and lovely wooden platform setting the overall mood! Love the bold statements in her collection.
Julian Zigerli
Looks like someone let the jungle out in his collection this season…smile! Note the obvious take that the military look is here to stay. Love the take on the pyjama trend in the third picture! It’s only the 2nd time Julian does woman’s wear but he’s certainly mastered some great looks!
Dorothee Vogel
Last but not least special guest to Mode Suisse this year, Dorothee stole the show with her triumphant pink – absolutely amazing. Although not all outfits were pink, if there was only one look people took away with them from Mode Suisse this season I am sure it’s one of her fabulous pink outfits!
Hope you’ve enjoyed this little summary – Fashion Week Milan starts week after next so there will be lots of news coming from Milan shortly!

Love the colors and the pants!
Very innovative, especially for the men. I love that long black dress with the high collar by Studio Winkler.
