There are times when fashion is so much more – it becomes an emotion – taking you into another world leaving you there dreaming…
Heaven Gaia meets Palais Garnier – PFW SS 2017
This is exactly what happened during the exquisite Heaven Gaia show held at the Palais Garnier in Paris on Wednesday. Sitting there in the realms of golden opulence, gigantic chandeliers and fabulously moving music the show began. A real tribute to China’s culture. A combination of Chinese wisdom, aesthetics, exquisite costumes and technology all in one.
Heaven Gaia – a relatively new brand was founded by famous Chinese designer Xiur and Ms Wang Tingying in 2013. Just like the hugely traditional collection the brand appears to be extremely traditional in it’s ways with barely an online presence to be spoken of. The statement on their press pamphlet says it all:
“As a connection link, it opens an invisible door, links and connects the traditional and the modern, the East and the West, art and life, man and nature, as well as interprets Chinese-style wisdom and aesthetics”
Come and take the journey into East Aisian Opulence for yourself…
An interesting mix of ceramics and the finest silk fabrics …
Love the flow of this real statement piece…
Note the earings – imagine wearing temples in your ears!
The grand finale….
On that note I hope you enjoyed your trip into East Asia…stay tuned for more Parisian Fashion Week Street Style coming up next week.
