Sitting in Paris as I write this months Funky Forty Favourite Shops update.
September is such a fun month with all the new season items in the shops and of course Fashion Weeks which are slowly coming back to normal again. At least Milan was – Paris is still largely digital so I’m curious what the next couple of days will bring….
This month I am super excited to be featuring a new store Yael Nadiv Jewelry. A real secret discovery.
Yael is a Zurich based designer with the most awesome collection of horn jewellery. Exclusively hand made and designed by Yael herself. Her concept being to make fabulous statement pieces which are timeless, beautiful and will turn any outfit into a statement.
If you are in Zurich do make the effort to visit Yael in her showroom. Alternatively do check out her online store – international shipping!

Visiting Paris one Fashion Week several years ago was when first came across a selection of wonderful bags by Caroline Dechamby – a Dutch self taught artist living in the wonderful Swiss mountain area of Crans Montana. We have been friends ever since.
If you like art then having one of Caroline Dechamby’s bags is almost a must have as it quite simply is the same as having a piece of art on your arm.
However there is much more to Caroline than handbags. DO check out her site for fabulous art and exclusive time pieces too. She even has special interior design projects!

There is a lovely sustainable story behind each brand they stock – see more here.
I’m currently in love with the super soft and reasonably priced Alpaca Scarves and Shawls.
9. Suenia Zurich
Siena Zurich jewellery has been created by two Spanish sisters with a passion for fashion. One of them now lives in Switzerland and so Suenia Zurich was born.
