For those of you new to FunkyForty the Favourite shops page is a concept set up last year to showcase special and favourite shops of mine.
Participating stores are updated each month. A monthly summary blog post will also be published highlighting new additions and seasonal highlights of existing stores.
The FunkyForty Favourite shops page came about in an effort to support small businesses during this difficult time. Going forward this will continue to be an easy and interesting way for you to discover new creations and stores.

Landolt-Arbenz
So happy to have this fabulous exclusive stationary store now in the FunkyForty Favourite Shop Family. Landolt-Arbenz is an exclusive pen and stationary shop. Unique within the whole of Switzerland. A magical world of writing instruments, leather goods and stationary unfolds before your very eyes as you enter the store.
For many years Landolt-Arbenz used to be down Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse. I always loved walking past and looking at the pretty shop window. A couple of years ago Landolt-Arbenz then moved to being next to the Savoy Hotel, opposite the Gucci store in Zurich.

Baunat
A clever woman buys her diamonds from Baunat!
BAUNAT is a digital native online platform. Hence the usual operational costs of running a beautiful store are eliminated, and BAUNAT can sell diamonds at their true value.
Not to worry if you don’t like to buy a diamond purely online. There are a few showrooms for customers. See here for a location near you.

Golden Carrot shoes has the cutest collection of Spring skirts in store right now. Plus still fabulous boots and plenty of colourful sandals – perfect for this Summer which I promise you is going to be a colourful one!

If you like art then having one of Caroline Dechamby’s bags is almost a must have as it quite simply is the same as having a piece of art on your arm.
