Just back from an amazing 7 days in Greece, along the coast just South of Athens…More about this trip in my next post so stay tuned!
Whilst hunting round for swimwear to take on vacation I came across the lovely Swiss label Kaioswim. Only just on the market since earlier this year.
Kaioswim was founded by two passionate women (Joanna and Chollada), who both have a close relationship with and love being in the water. The swimwear is made in Italy close to Como by a family run manufacture which Joanna and Chollada visit regularly.
The fabric used for the swimwear comes from regenerated plastic wastes from ghost fishing nets and industrial nylon waste. Yet the fabrics are still so soft it remains almost impossible to imagine this could be the case! The dream is one day be able to close the recycling loop by regenerating new swimsuits out of their used swimwear.

Apart from being sustainable I really love the timeless designs of the Kaioswim collection.
Three of my favourites which I wore whilst in Greece this past week:
1. The Halter Swimsuit
A totally new design for me – smile!
2. Plunge Swimsuit
Also available in different colours but I have fallen in love with this tender green colour.
3. Triangle Bikini
