Dog Days of Summer and Ageless Style Linkup

Hi everyone, it’s so funny isn’t it…at first we complain about summer taking such a long time to arrive. We’re sick of the rain and cold and hanging out for summer to arrive. Then “voila” it’s here and the next minute we’re so hot we feel like we can’t move and have no idea what to wear. Does this sound familiar to you?

This is where the 3rd Ageless Style Linkup comes in to save you – smile. Todays theme is what to wear during the dog hot days of summer. We decided this time to simply have links instead of photos of each co-host on our blog posts but please do take the time to check out all the different styles – each month I find it so interesting how a small group of women can come up with such a diverse way of covering the same topic…I know I can’t wait to check out everyone else’s look.

Now for my personal favourite:

This super simple Max&Co dress which I bought last year…it’s the one I found in Como, didn’t buy, tried to get online but they won’t deliver to Switzerland so I had to order it and get it sent to friends in Stuttgart…

On super hot days I love teaming it up with my cute Clark Sandals (similar) and Hat…

Sometimes I choose to wear it with my little black Prada bag (similar from L.K.Bennett) and Espadrils (similar).

Note the necklace (vintage Max&Co) – not what you would expect to combine with a blue and white dress but I think it works nicely adding that little extra touch to  the whole outfit (another I like from niemanmarcus.com).
