Hi Everyone,
Has Paris Fashion Week gone underground? A question I asked this season as I found myself attending a few off-schedule shows that really pulled off some fabulous collections.
More to the point it seemed as though the guests to these shows were making more of an effort with their styling. This was also – surprise surprise – where I saw some of the major fashion week influencers such as Leonie Hanne. I even got to meet Petra Dieners in person for the first time – so nice as we see each other on Instagram every day for many years now.
In any case the shows were so interesting that I thought it would be nice to share a small preview of 5 Paris Fashion Week off-schedule designers with you. Hope you enjoy the show and perhaps there will be one or other of the designers that you too like – smile!

Kobi Halperin
“Born and raised in Israel, Kobi studied and received his B.F.A from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. Upon graduating, Kobi moved to New York to became the Executive Creative Director at Elie Tahari for 13 years and Executive Creative Director at Kenneth Cole Productions for 3 years.”
Launching his ready-to-wear label in 2015. The label Kobi Halperin embodies a European sensibility and is already very popular in Germany. This was his first show in Paris – a major step for the designer and truly a great show.
I loved the soft floaty fabrics, cute shorts and fantastically opulent jewellery on the SS26 runway show.
The guests at the show were also dressed beautifully…
2. Aleen Sabbagh
Aleen Sabbagh was created in 2019 by two Lebanese born sisters. They were born into the world of fashion with their mother being a fashion brand proprietor.
The couture collection was very beautiful. In particular I enjoyed the luxurious floaty styling that remained a little daring…
3. Alersundi
Alersundi is a Mexican fashion brand founded by Alejandra Lersundi in 2008. She specialises in evening and red carpet wear.
The take on sparkles was very special in this SS26 show…
4. Mazini
Mazini is a Ukranian womenswear label founded in 2015. Known for its refined minimalist tailoring and quietly powerful aesthetic.
This was definitely one of my favourite collections – love the suits and the take on red.
5. Sagio
Saigo is the youngest of all 5 brands – founded in 2023 by Budapest based designer Alexander Sagio.
Sagio originally trained as an architect and his architectural skills certainly come through in his designs. If you are looking for something a little different and new whilst remaining classy then this is the brand to investigate.
Thank you to Moda Productions for the show invitations.
