Hi Everyone,
Having just spent the day sorting out photos from previous fashion weeks – transferring them over to our server – made me realise just how different the fashion really was this season in Milan.
In past seasons you could certainly see every new trend being displayed with vengeance in street style. However this season it was much more toned down. Is it that fashion per se is toning down? Taking on a much more contemporary look with a slight edge?
Looking back at Simona Marziali’s show is a perfect example. Nominated as one of the best brands by “Vogue Talents” in July 2018, with experience as a knitwear designer for various brands such as Gilmar and Diesel. Simona was 21 when she started her career in fashion and 12 years later set up her own brand MRZ. It’s interesting to see how a young designer such as Simona interprets the fashion trends to come.
This post shows you a few highlights from the show itself.

Hi dear Yvonne thank you very much for your Blog it is a very interesting show and also different something for every person to find and wear
Nice stuff but is this for Spring/Summer 2021? If it is for A/W 2020 I don’t understand the bare feet in slippers.
Greetje
Well spotted, this was tactually the show for Spring/Summer 2021
xoxo
As always, fantastic write up Yvonne! We are increasingly looking at old designs back in vogue, in their much more contemporary avatars. Comfort is now an absolute must, rather than blindly following fashion dictates.
