Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the first Tuesday of the month – Linkup time (last months linkup here). The theme for November being “Booties and Sweaters”.
Each month 10 ladies showcase their version of our monthly theme. It’s always exciting to see what each of them come up with. We never share photos beforehand so it’s a complete surprise to us all. I love the fact that we all come up with something so different and end up inspiring each other in new fashion directions.
The linkup is at the end of this post so make sure you stay tuned 😉
Booties and Sweaters: Ageless Style Linkup
It’s probably about now that I need to confess that booties and sweater are a little like a Saturday morning uniform for me in Fall. So much so that I forgot to get rid of my shopping whilst doing the photo shoot. Luckily for you the only thing I really shopped this weekend was a lovely bunch of flowers ( except for groceries too of course).
Don’t you just love these Fall flowers.
The sweater and leather trousers are wardrobe staples of mine since years. If I was to buy a new sweater today it would be longer and probably a hoodie. But this one is a favourite as it is thin enough to also wear indoors.
As a fun effect I love wearing it with a chunky watch worn over the sleeve. I mean whats the point in wearing a watch if no one can see it – don’t you agree?
The booties are stocking booties – everyone needs a pair this Fall/Winter believe me! They come tops in both comfort and warmth. In addition you can wear them with dress, skirt or trousers. Then to top it off they even work worn under skinny trousers!
Here are some fun stocking booties to shop now – all price ranges covered 😉
Don’t you just love Zurich’s windows – smile!
Outfit details:
Sweater – Companys
Pants and Booties – Zara
Scarf – Zabaione
Bag – Louis Vuitton (vintage)

Hi Yvonne. Lovely look, simple and stylish. Well, that is the whole idea behind your ageless style link of course and I’d say that you have done a great job there. I absolutely like the colour scheme too. One of my favourites for autumn and winter. And adding flower is something my Dutch heart does sooooooo good. Thanks for this great start of my day. Love, Lieske
Thank you dear Lieske. Your lovely comment just made my day too!

Looks like we were both feeling the flowers this month. The sweater and booties are great but these pants are amazing.

Thanks Shelly – yes flowers are key for the soul in Fall, don’t you agree – smile.
Have a lovely day xxx
Yeah, yeah, yeah… you just happened to only have bought flowers. And the groceries happened to already be at home hahaha. You are not fooling me, but I do like this “prop”. Pretty flowers are always good.
My weekend uniform is very much the same. I love how you get your leg in the air. Very flexible. You must do a lot of fitness.
If you had the leather trousers for a while, then they keep their shape very well. Usually they get a lot bigger/ loser.
The photo in the window is hilarious. I can imagine you climbing up there.
Greetje
Haha this time i have to disappoint you Greetje – it is all real!!! I honestly buy flowers every Saturday and the grocery shopping was done in the morning because I had guests later that evening – not norm that organised 😉
…ok I will admit to esp buying the flowers first so they could be included in the pics – norm I get them after taking pics …
xoxo Yvonne
This is such a classic look for the cold weather! You look extra comfy in your sweater and scarf. I love the booties that you paired with the look!
