Along with lockdowns and more time spent at home comes an inevitable change in fashion too. The focus is huge on comfort, yet at the same time we want to feel stylish. This is exactly where Boho comes into play. It’s the perfect solution! Time to wear Boho chic in Autumn…
There is something so special about wearing a pretty Boho dress on a beautiful sunny Autumn day. The one I am wearing in today’s post is from Rejane Rosenberger’s online store. It is the Autumn/Winter version of my pretty orange Summer Boho dress – see here.
This post is about sharing my favourite ways to wear Boho chic in Autumn. Some tips and tricks learnt over the years that you might like to try too – or perhaps you already do!
My Favourite Ways to Wear Boho Chic in Autumn
Knee High Boots and Long Cardigan
The easiest way ever to style Boho chic and the way I’ve styled it in today’s post…
Wearing thin woollen tops under your Boho dress
A thin woollen top under your Boho dress is such a great trick for wearing even your Summer Boho dresses as temperatures cool. You stay cosy and warm yet the look is wonderfully Boho and carefree.
Long sleeveless faux fur vest/coat on top
I have a sleeveless faux sheepskin vest bought in Paris one year, which I especially reserve for this look… see here for an example on Instagram.
Short dresses with knee high boots, long dresses with ankle boots or mules, depending on the temperature.
Short dresses with knee high boots, long dresses with ankle boots or mules is a mantra of mine in cooler months. During spring/Summer I’ll also team ankle boots with shorter Boho dresses.
