Currently sitting in Paris – can’t believe I am crazy enough to do Milan and Paris Fashion Week’s back to back this season!
Looking back at the Milan street style there are so many fab looks to choose from. The lack of Gucci remained a topic for the rest of the week (already mentioned in previous street style post). Tartan was certainly hot, camel being the eternal staple especially when teamed up in leopard print. Maxi dresses remain a must have and pleated skirts are here to stay. They have been holding up several seasons now!
From a colour point of view emphasis on blues, greens and yellow. Sheer fabrics being one of this seasons favourites especially when teamed up with a bit of a frill.
Going out the little black dress was taking a step back, being replaced with the more casual chic look teamed with feature sneakers. White is staying over from Summer – seems we can wear it all through Winter this season. White coats being a soon to be wardrobe staple!

I’ll always love my little black dress(es), they’re just timeless. White coats are a great, sleek, clean winter look; however, I continue to have difficulty donning white shoes, pants or dresses after Labor Day. I still hear my mom and grandma saying NO WHITE before Memorial Day or after Labor Day! And, I live in Southwest Florida! You would think I could get over it🙄. I need help getting past this old fashioned fashion rule.
And, please tell me high Waisted Mom jeans are going away!
Thanks Cynthia, as a woman after my own heart I can even confirm to you that now in Paris I have only seen hipsters walking down the runway… perhaps (thankfully) this high waisted hype will be short lived!
