Hi Everyone,
Days 2 and 3 of Milan Fashion Week SS27 did not disappoint. Plenty of fabulous outfits to be inspired by.
There was no new bag massively hitting the streets from Fendi. In fact, the Baguette made another comeback, not that it is ever out of fashion.
The no-bra look and low necklines are all the rage, and anyone born in the ’60s who is still wearing their blazers braless and topless will be happy to know this is fully en vogue once again.
Missoni is simply a classic. The street style around the show looked wonderful. Not necessarily new or different, but like a classic that never dates.
In fact, this is what you could say about most of the Italian designers this season. Based on the street style, they are playing it safe. With so much at stake in so many other parts of the world, perhaps it is fitting that fashion is returning to our trusty favourites.
I could say a lot more, but instead there’ll be a little note under each picture in this post.

The old/ new cleavage and all-black is going nowhere.
Voila, the baguette! Ooh, one new thing the standalone collar!
It’s that pencil skirt suit that’s come back again.
Jil Sander with the classic lines, simply statement bag, open back.
The pencil skirt!
Bold red – a statement of courage in so many ways.
Colour pops are always fun especially when there is a degree of monogram involved.
A Missoni classic with statement back.
The cutest Missoni mini out!
Shades of brown a definite must have…
Another fabulous way to team your brown. Brown and grey is replacing last years’ black and brown.
All white with a contrast coat and accessories.
That fabulous colour contrast with statement shoes,
Yes to laceup boots and captain caps.
Statement jewellery, oversized glasses and the sweater wrapped at the waist.
Some festive season style inspo here – there is something about baring your back also in the colder months.
Monochrome always a winner.
The white suit seems to be a staple winner.
Pop socks and Shorts – what a combination.
Long shorts and pumps – another perfect couple!
Floaty and feminine will always be a winner.
Brown leather – looks great with pale skin and even better for redheads.
Stay tuned for more Fashion Week news to come!
