Hi Everyone,
Lets take the high road and start looking forward to Fall!
The pre Fall season is kind of the best of both worlds because we get to escape from those scorching hot temperatures while still enjoying relatively warm weather, long days and carefree energy that only the summer can offer. All the same as the seasons change it’s always a bit of a challenge to be dressed just right. However a few basic tricks will make sure you get your pre Fall outfit right every time.
Basics for Pre Fall
This will be a typical pre Fall situation – not knowing whether to be dressed with sleeves or not. So far this pre Fall I’ve fallen in love with this shirt from Ania Schierholt – a cotton shirt with stretchy sleeves. Perfect for comfort and that little edge of extra warmth.
As a next step this shoe string top may seem skimpy but it has a little extra thickness to it than most…making it perfect protection from a little chill.
Plus when the sun comes out and it’s hot you still have the option to grab a few last rays of sun…

A pair of light weight trousers then complete any pre Fall look.
Trousers a silky stretch fabric also Ania Schierholt (see here for where to buy).
In Summary:
Basics for pre Fall:
- A long sleeved shirt with stretch in it.
- A thicker short sleeved or shoe string top.
- Thin silky feeling trousers with a hint of stretch in them.

I am wearing a lot of stripes these days too! Don t know why though! Your trousers look a bit like paperbag trousers! I love that design. And the color is very nice!
Thanks Nancy – I’ve been seeing a lot of stripes around too lately. Nice though that people are no longer afraid of wearing them horizontally.

Yvonne, I love this casually chic outfit. The light layers are perfect and the muted colors put me in the mood for fall. Those sneakers are simply adorable, too, and the perfect pairing with this fun outfit. Thanks so much for joining my #SpreadTheKindness Link Up!
