Hi Everyone,

Ever found yourself in the situation where your wardrobe seems to be busting at the seams and you don’t really know what to do with your fabulous pre-loved items?

It’s certainly a challenge for me so you can imagine how happy I was to learn about a new online website FashionFederation.ch where anyone in Switzerland can sell their preloved items online. If you’ve outside of Switzerland check out FashionFederation.eu.

Better still though this is not only a platform for private sellers of preloved items. It is also a platform used by independent boutiques selling their new and past collections.

All about Fashion Federation, Terre des Hommes and Jimmy Choo Shoes for CHF 200!

The whole process is super easy. You just set up your account and can start adding products straight away. A moderation team checks all products entered into the system before they go online.  They get back to you within 24 hours (working hours, Monday to Friday). Full instructions here.

In fact for me the most difficult part was deciding what to finally part with. The cute skirt above is one of the items I have finally decided to part with…

I was going to part with the trousers bellow but my dear friend Nadia said I wasn’t allowed to – so they are being given a second chance in the wardrobe. The shoes however have been put up for sale online…

The fun thing about selling old items is it makes room for new and I have seen some wonderful Jimmy Choo shoes on FashionFederation.ch that really look like they belong in my wardrobe – currently selling online from CHF 200!

The plus of using Fashion Federation?

At the same time as earning money from selling pre-loved items you can also contribute an amount to Terre des Hommes, an organisation aimed at helping children. The Terre des Hommes logo is added to those items.

Photos for this post were taken in room 501 at the Storchen Hotel in Zurich. The bar area downstairs is one of my favourite places.  Visit for business meetings, a quiet tete-a-tete or simply having a small bite to eat.
