Hi Everyone,
Bohemian style, also known as boho has been a personal favourite of mine since ever. Growing up in New Zealand it was perfectly aligned with windy and carefree beach days. However during my corporate days I forgot about the wonderful free feeling of wearing boho as tailored suits ruled my wardrobe. I used to reserve it for trips home to New Zealand and my hubby fondly refers to it as my “New Zealand taste”.
This week Andrea from our lovely local store La-Tienda (she also has a great online store), opened up over lunch especially for my dear friend Beatrice from Ask the Monsters and I to try on some of her new summer boho. Beatrice is famous for her cute figure hugging outfits so it was something new for her. We had so much fun trying on different looks. Being ever so girly, doing pretend catwalks and simply letting everything else go for a couple of hours. It was like being 18 all over again.

A Swiss Bohemian Morning to Remember
Andrea gave each of us 3 different outfits to try on making sure that we matched colour wise each time.
1st Outfit
We loved these dresses from Yvonne S.
I already own a Yvonne S dress from last year and love the fact that it simply lives rolled up in a drawer and looks perfect whenever I take it out to wear. It’s a wash, hang to dry, fold away dress.
I am thinking though that a short version like the one Beatrice is wearing, also needs to join my wardrobe – smile!
2nd Outfit
Next I tried on this cute linen dress from Nina Leuca.
The bag and bracelets are also from the store – this carry all is a real favourite of mine.
Beatrice wore a sweet lilac dress from Dea Kudibal…
Which of the two is your favourite?
3rd outfit
Both wearing Dea Kudibal dresses – mine is the dress I can imagine floating with me as I next time stroll down a lovely long sandy beach in New Zealand…
Whilst Beatrice’s dress is simply perfect for a European city trip…. The sandals are also from La-Tienda.
There’s nothing quite like a private girly shopping hour – best recipe ever for the soul!
