Todays’s story is one so inspirational, I simply had to share it with you. We all go through good and bad times in life. However it is how we get through the bad times that really shape our future.
This is the story about a successful business woman, Trude Viole Stene. In 2002 she was given the diagnosis that she would probably lose her eyesight. Instead of giving up, she made a promise to herself that if things went well she would “dedicate her life to creating meaningful change in the world”.
As a result Triple Solution Skincare was created. A very easy to use skin care line using only natural products.
“With a triple mission: to deliver healthy skincare without harmful chemicals, uplift the communities of the harvesters in remote areas, and contribute positively to the environment.”

About Trude Viole Stene – an incredible yet true story!
Born in Norway and later studying at the United World College in Canada. Trude learnt very early the power of global diversity and the significant impact every individual can have on fostering peace and understanding.
Starting off in the corporate world Trude went on to build up her own successful company, which she later sold to join the globally renowned World Vision Organisation. An organisation with a name that ironically matches her journey.
Finding clarity in darkness
In 2002 a severe condition threatened to change the course of Trude’s life: she was suddenly facing blindness! The prognosis was grim.
The thought of not seeing her daughter growing up was shattering. At this moment she made a vow: “If granted a second chance, she would dedicate her life to creating a meaningful change in the world.”
After many surgeries and doctors, a miracle happened and her eyesight was restored. However Trude’s vow remained.
From vision to visionary
Working at World Vision from 2002 – 2007 she engaged directly with numerous developmental projects across continents, raising significant funds that transformed communities.
Then in 2007, based on all the knowledge and experience gained Trude founded Future4Children . Her vision being to improve the education and care of underprivileged children, particularly girls.
The organisation has since established orphanages, schools, and child-oriented initiatives in countries including China, Moldova, India, Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, and Uganda.
In 2020 whilst in northern Uganda establishing a girl’s school Trude got severely sunburned. Local women then introduced her to a remarkable secret remedy – Nilotic shea butter. Within days her skin was miraculously fully recovered.
.. and so the seed was sewn to Trude starting Triple Solution Skincare.
