Culottes – the perfect goto item this Fall

Hi Everyone – is your wardrobe ready for Fall?

Revisiting the Fall 2016 runways (Armani,  Saint Laurent, Gucci), it becomes clear that culottes are making their presence known even more than ever this coming season. That sophisticated wide leg trouser, with luscious fabric, finishing at or just above the ankle or higher has got to be this seasons “must have” trend.

I know we’re all still clinging on to our skinnies and by no means am I suggesting you get rid of them but do add a pair of culottes to your wardrobe if you haven’t already done so.

I’ve gone for a stretchy crepe pair from Esprit – light enough to wear now and still solid enough to keep going through winter.

Worn here with a little Chanel look alike blazer – such an easy office look.

Or if you want to add a little more chic to the outfit why not try matching with a 3/4 length coat – love this burgundy one – also picked up from Esprit.

Adding a statement necklace always helps your outfit that little edge…

And now for a more casual look…

In short no matter how you may feel about culottes, they’re here to stay. If you haven’t already accepted the culotte pant into your life, now is the perfect time. There are so many wonderful styles to choose from at present.
