Hi Everyone,
Imagine simply soaking in luscious warm water, in the middle of an architectural wonder as the stars begin to set. Let your mind wander… it’s difficult not to have a sense of spirituality overcome you in this surreal atmosphere. Speaking from experience as my dear friend Beatrice and I had the pleasure to try out this week.
Cinema evenings at 7132 Hotel in Vals are a special treat they have available to everybody – also external guests for the month of August. Each Wednesday night there is an international movie and on Sunday nights there are Swiss movies and documentaries about architecture.
Certainly an experience that’s worthy of every bucket list. You can watch the movie either in the water or outside a chair with a blanket (also provided). There’s also the option of a special 3 course movie dinner in the 7132 Red restaurant beforehand. We even stayed the night and thus had breakfast and a morning swim to enjoy as well.

Entrance impressions:
It would be fair to say that the minute you walk into the entrance of Hotel 7132 you realise this is a very special hotel. The lights, the flowers, design, friendly welcoming staff, the list goes on…
Our room:
We had a spa deluxe room in the main building. 60 square meters of pure bliss, including the cutest round bath tub, generous walk in wardrobe, Nespresso coffee machine, and lovely terrace with panoramic mountain views.
The room is designed through and through with great attention to detail. A bucket list must stay for anyone remotely interested in interior design.
The pre movie dinner in 7132 Red:
We had the special 3 course pre-movie dinner in the restaurant 7132 Red. Deliciously prepared proportions that are just right for a late night spent in the spa.
We particularly enjoyed the oversized pepper grinder – hehe!
The Therme:
There’s something very surreal as you enter the Therme at 7132. Designed by Swiss architect Peter Zumtour using 60’000 slabs of Vals quartzite. The word impressive is an understatement!
Exterior impressions:
The outdoor areas are all very pretty, simply inviting one’s mind to get creative or dream of sweet nothing. This is truly a great place to recharge the batteries. Everything is so serene, even I had the desire to try out some meditation – smile.
