Ha Ha – todays post is largely dedicated to those of us who are in a long term relationship. We all know it don’t we – the regular daily rat race – even though we live together the quality time spent together tends to be limited as we are all so busy.

 

Exactly this has inspired todays post – we all know to take shorts, t-shirts etc on holiday with us but more often than not we don’t think about the little things that will truly make a difference to our vacation 😉

This is the one time I truly advise you to think of your partner when packing.

 

5 Things to Pack for Positive Vacation Impact!

1. The going out dress 

This should either be brand new or one which you know your partner really loves on you. Even if you haven’t planned on going out for dinner during vacation having that dress packed will bring up the perfect excuse for a lovely evening out together – smile.

Always good to have a pair ready on vacation…even if you only wear them for going to breakfast – hehe…

3. New Lingerie / Nightwear

If there was ever a time to bother to get new underwear it is for vacation – lets face it this is something we tend to need always anyway right so it’s a good investment on all accounts.

4. New Swimwear

Yes, I know it – you still have last years bikini which is still good enough etc… However believe me chances are high that it has actually faded and stretched somewhat since last season. Especially if you’re going to be away for a week or more – at least one new Bikini /Bathing suit is def worth the investment.

5. Red lipstick and Nail polish

…I know it sounds really cliche doesn’t it but believe me most men love red lips…it’s in their genes…even if they wouldn’t normally say anything…ask yourself if you don’t believe me – smile.

I was given a bottle of NYX lipstick recently and was really amazed at how long it really does last on your lips. Plus the pricing is awesome – I found out the only reason they are much cheaper than most brands is because they don’t have a huge advertising budget.

Nail polish is useful as now you’ll possibly have time to actually paint your nails nicely. Based on personal experience O.P.I remains my favourite brand.

On that note I wish you all a fabulous vacation and hope you do take at least one little piece of advice – smile!
