Hi everyone – having procrastinated a little before buying this skirt, especially as it’s quite dark so not necessarily a Spring colour it has even turned into my “goto” skirt for this season… find out why!
5 Reasons Everyone Needs a Maxi Skirt for Spring:
1 Perfect for hiding pale legs without having to wear stockings
2. Keep legs warm when its a little colder
3. It will make you look taller when worn with a crop top
4. They can be both dressed up for a party, dressed down for casual or simply teamed up with a blazer for the office.
5. Maxi skirts are a HOT trend this season.

It’s fun to team up with different looks – when using the above bag I also often wear bright red converse for added effect – if I had a business meeting of course the converse would be replaced with pumps.
Note the cropped t-shirt. If you wear a long skirt like this it’s important to keep the top cropped giving a nice elongated effect.
Here a few other tops that would work fab with this skirt:
TopShop £60 – Perfect for those of you with a longer body – of course I suggest rolling up the sleeves for a more fun effect.
Love this off the shoulder Striped Bardot Top £28
If you have a more curvy shape – wearing this shirt open, over your cropped t-shirt will polish the outfit off perfectly. Striped Tunic Shirt by Boutique £65

Wishing you all a fab day and look forward to seeing you on Friday when we’ll be publishing “Shopping with Celebrities in Paris!”

This skirt is so fabulous! I don’t know if I could wear the pleated maxi skirt on my shape, but I do love a slimmer maxi skirt for myself for Spring (for all the reasons you listed)! And your bag! Oh your bag! I am definitely swooning over it!

This is a very good look. Thanks for encouraging me as I have a bright pink long skirt. I will get it out. I just love the feeling of a long skirt. This metallic pleated example is perfect.
