5 Most Awesome Dining Experiences in Dubai

Hello hope your day is going well!

Today’s post is especially for all those “foodies” amongst you…Having visited Dubai twice so far eating out has each time remained one of the most memorable and unique experiences compared to any other holiday – and that’s saying something considering how often you’ll find me in Paris, (kingdom of fine food). As always we have personally tried out all restaurants mentioned in this post.

5 most awesome dining experiences in Dubai:

1. At.Mosphere Restaurant Burj Khalifa

Situated on the 122 floor of the worlds largest building alone could make this restaurant a must on everyone’s bucket list however even the gourmet food alone was an awesome experience.

Personally I suggest going in the early evening and having the glory of watching the sun go down…

2. Pier Chic

Also nominated Dubai’s most romantic restaurant. Pier Chic is situated on a pier along Jumeirah beach Pier Chic is one of the most awesome places to eat for a fab view directly onto Burj Al Arab.

Open for lunch and dinner with an extensive a la carte seafood menu. For those who are on the lookout for a bit of a bargain, Pier Chic’s “Lunch on the Pier” degustation menu for AED175 per head, is a bargain.  The menu changes weekly.

3. Bateaux River Cruise

There are several traditional Dubai Creek dinner cruises you can actually choose from – most with buffet dinner and a show. We decided on the elegant Bateaux Dubai as it gourmet cuisine along with a bespoke experience to explore the waterways of Dubai Creek. I personally liked the idea of the boat being a glass-enclosed, air-conditioned luxury vessel providing 360° views of wherever we went.

Both food and experience were awesome – definitely to be recommended.

4. Bice Mare

We went to Bice Mare to see the famous evening Dubai Fountain show – truly spectacular and certainly not to be missed…

As an added bonus however we found ourselves in the most awesome Italian restaurant specialising in seafood – making us feel a little like we were back in Europe – lets face it sometimes we all enjoy having some of the comforts of home whilst away – smile!

You can sit inside for a the comforts of air conditioning and pop out for the fountain show or sit on their balcony and enjoy direct view of the show literally right by you!

5. Fume Eatery at Pier 7

Unlike the previous gourmet dining suggestions – Pier 7 is full of a selection of restaurants. We chose to eat at a fun relaxed Fume – perfect for an easy dinner or lunch with views over the Marina.

I love the story of how it began with a group of friends getting together for a bbq and then coming up with the idea to smoke salmon… this simple idea then progressed to what is now a chain of restaurants in Dubai with plans for further extension.
