4 Favourite Holiday Dresses for Christmas 2017

Hi Everyone,

What is Christmas for you? Usually for me it’s a matter of going home to New Zealand and celebrating Christmas Eve with family, mostly in the garden. Followed by a fabulous beach picnic on Christmas day!

This year we will be staying in Europe. My break in Singapore last month was perfect to tank up some sunshine. At the same time I found these wonderful dresses from Adrift which, if I were going to NZ for Christmas I know would become this years favourite Christmas dresses. No ironing, simple to wear yet stylish at the same time…

Keep reading to see my personal 4 Favourite Holiday Dresses for Christmas 2017.

4 Favourite Holiday Dresses for Christmas 2017

  1. Floaty White

This little white dress is one I fell in love with the minute it arrived. So much so that I am even wearing it in winter – see Instagram post here.

Pictures taken by the dreamy roof top pool at the Nuami Hotel Singapore.

Dress available online here (currently on sale too!).

2. Colour Statement

Seriously love the colour statement this dress makes. Ever so comfy, everywhere I went people were commenting on my pretty colourful dress! A true Christmas day delight!

Excuse messy hair – anyone who’s been to Singapore will know the challenge of keeping hair under control with extreme humid conditions…

Dress available online here.

There are also other dress designs with the same fabric – love the colours for Christmas.

3. The Blue Adorable

Love the blue and YES, you can wear shoulder cut out styles over 40. In fact the lovely thing  is that your shoulders are one of the last parts of the body to wrinkle.

Look at this, proof that even Singapore has wonderful beaches. In fact walking along the beach is one of my nicest memories…possibly because I was with my BFF having a wonderful chat at the time!

Dress available online here.

4. Perfect Pool Wonder

You know those days you’ve been lazing by the pool or beach all day and then need to get dressed for pre dinner drinks… this is the perfect solution…

Actually it’s more than that – if I hadn’t been wearing my bright orange bikini underneath it wouldn’t be nearly as transparent… as you can see I had been having a fab day!

Dress available online here.

Hi! I’m Yvonne, a 40 something (wink) Kiwi, living in Zurich. I love fashion, travel, shopping and food – believing chocolate will cure almost anything!

  1. Ooh, I love this post, Yvonne! It was sooo hot here in Brisbane today! All of those dresses would be perfect to wear on Christmas Day! My fave would have to be the blue adorable dress! I love the colours and style! So pretty! You look fab in all of them! XXX

  2. Wow, I love all of your four picks and you look great in all four dresses. I especially particularly like both the green and blue dresses. I totally get you on the hair thing too. I’d been to Singapore and my family just vacationed in Thailand last month. Not only was it hot, it was humid and it was just terrible to have hair. LOL

  3. I love that you chose dresses that are out of the ordinary for the holidays! The white dress looks absolutely stunning, and I love the colorful ones that you chose. This definitely makes me want to make a statement at my holiday party!
Thank you for linking up this week!
