Hi Everyone,
With Christmas just around the corner at the beginning of next week, I thought it was a good time to share my personal 4 favourite festive looks this year.
Each look has a totally different story to it and either I already have or else am certainly planning on wearing them in different ways for the remainder of Winter.
Are you all sorted when it comes to festive outfits for this year? Is that special New Years Eve outfit still a question mark in you mind? Here’s a little inspiration that just might help you decide what to wear for your next special occasion.

The Chiffon dress
Chiffon is a fabric that’s been creeping into the stores more and more of late. It’s also going to feature hot in next Spring/ Summer. This simple chiffon look is made up of a black slip dress and chiffon dress over it.
The chiffon is going to double up as a coat. Worn over a tight fitting turtle neck top and trousers in Winter. Over shorts in warmer weather so don’t be surprised if you see it again both this season and again once Spring comes…
The dress is Maje
2. The little black dress with statement collar
This dress comes with two feather collars. The fuchsia one in the picture and another in black.. so you can really choose your look for the evening. Alternatively it can be worn without a feather collar at all, making it the perfect office dress.
Found online at By.Adori a brilliant brand based in Switzerland with a great online store (see here) with lots of stylish sweaters and feminine dresses.
3. The red coat
Coat dresses are another hot item.
This one is from Swiss designer Paradis des Innocentsย ย I’m planning on also wearing it with a belt or as a simple coat worn over trousers and tight fitting sweater…
Love the dramatic red colour – this alone makes a statement when you walk into a room – smile!
4. The maxi dress
Originally worn with simple black heels, and then again just last weekend with boots. Personally I think I like the boots look best.
The dress is from Massimo Dutti and also comes in black with white dots – see here
The picture above was taken at the fun hot chocolate bar at the Waldhotel in Davos. There’ll be a separate blog post soon about my stay there – it truly is a hotel with a great secret history behind it… not to mention the most fantastic views from the rooms!
