The Oversized Statement T-shirt
Whilst previous seasons emphasis has been on wearing tight/slim fitting tops, where possible even cropped this Summer sees the return of the oversized statement t-shirt. They make all the difference teamed up with a slim fitting satin or pencil skirt. The trick is to tuck them in somewhere so that a little shape can still be shown.
Be careful teaming your oversized t-shirt with baggy pants though. Here the 2026 trend remains either teaming with tight fitting tops or if you do go for an oversized statement t-shirt it should be cropped, revealing just a little bare waist for effect.
2. Adding Red to Your Outfit
Red is such a bold colour, many people stay away from it. Some say it doesn’t suit them, others are too shy to wear it as wearing red certainly means you. will get noticed.
Well red is one of the coolest colours you can wear Summer 2026. The brighter the better. If you think it doesn’t suit you, simply wear it away from your face. Then it will look great, regardless of complexion.
3. Statement Sneakers
2026 is saying goodbye to white sneakers and hello to statement sneakers. Go out there and find the most fun sneakers out. Believe me they will make a difference to your every outfit. Even more so if they have some matching colour element to the rest of your outfit.
4. Add a matching Cap to Your Outfit
Honest, I tried this dress on in the shop… thought it was ok. However then when I added the baseball cap to it , I knew it had to come home with me. Adding the cap instantly gives the whole outfit a sense of cool. Such a small add-on with such a big impact.
