Hi Everyone,
Satin pants are certainly replacing jeans this summer. They are no longer to be kept for good. Summer 2026 is about wearing your satin pants with sneakers, flip-flops or kitten heels. The choice is yours. From a practicality point of view they are so much lighter than jeans and super comfy to wear. Latest secret tip: balloon pants are creeping up on the trend scene . You can turn your satin pants into ballon pans by simply wearing a larger elastic hair band over your pants around your ankles… something new to try – smile.
Now that I actually have a pair of light coloured satin pants myself, I’m wondering why I didn’t own a pair a long time ago. In fairness it took me some time to find a pair which fit me well. The satin trousers I’m wearing today come from the store Witchery. They have an elastic waistband but the beauty of them is that you don’t really notice it when you are wearing them. They have been cut in such a way to lie flat and complement your body shape.

3 Ways I’m Styling Satin Pants this Summer
1. With a black crop top and oversized blouse
This is such a super easy outfit and works every time. Note that I deliberately kept the top part of the outfit all black and the bottom all whites, including the shoes. A brown bag seemed like an easy accessory. However I did stick to black sunnies.
Blouse: Sosue – available here
Pants Witchery – available here (I have just ordered a black pair as well)
2. Worn with a matching camisole top
There’s something about this outfit that simply puts me into party mode and makes me want to dance. Do you ever get that feeling when you wear an outfit you really love?
Both top and pants are from Witchery.
3. Adding camel as more summery suit
It’s interesting to see how teaming the pants with a super thin camel blazer seems to transform the look from date night or fun, to office wear.
Sticking to black sling backs make sure the cropped top is teamed up nicely. Had I worn a black bag I might have considered camel or whitish shoes.
So that’s me and my satin pants -wishing you lots of fun with yours. After all 2026 has put satin pants onto the list of wardrobe staples – smile!

Love this outfit on you, in all varieties. It wouldn’t be wise for me to copy as I have a totally different body. But I do recognise that it suits you very well.
