3 Dresses I Can’t Live Without this Summer

Hi Everyone,

To say you can’t live without a dress is a pretty big statement. I did think twice about the title to this post. However truth is this is an incredibly hot Summer here in Europe and the only way I survive is by having the right set of dresses.

It does make life super easy for the holiday season. All you need to do is fold up one little piece of fabric per day, or two days as each dress can be worn twice. What could be simpler!

The trick is in having the right dress and the right accessories.

Keep reading to find out about the 3 dresses I can’t live without this Summer.

3 Dresses I Can’t Live Without this Summer

  1. The Tent Dress

When we’re talking 35° or more I really don’t care what anyone says about the tent dress. It’s the only thing you will see me wearing. In fact if there were no such thing there is a risk I would run around naked – haha!

The secret to making any tent dress look good lies in the accessories. An expensive bag and statement set of slip-ons and you’re done. No one will ever label you as the woman with the tent dress – they’ll remember the accessories and you can remain cool and comfy at the same time!

I’ve had this dress for years and keep on wanting to throw it out but I know when the weather gets hot this becomes my goto item. So it’s worth investing in a good one!

2. The Scrunchable Gingham Dress

It’s no secret that I’m into gingham this Summer. Must be a longer obsession however.  I picked up this dress in Zara last year.

The scary thing is that I truly have always had a thing for gingham. When I was about 12 I only owned 2 dresses. They were both gingham and hand sewn by my Mum. They were all I wore and I never thought twice…

My best friend even made my Mum make her the same dress – so it can’t have been that bad – haha!

I love the fact this dress can be scrunched up in a case and still looks fab at the other end.

3. This Summer’s Special Dress

It is my personal policy to buy one special dress twice a year. Self Portrait is seriously one of my favourite designers due to three things. The quality, the price and the fabulous designs.

So here you see this seasons purchase.
