3. Colourful blankets for the home
Recently I had a bit of fun in my own bedroom trying out a few new blankets over the bed to add a touch of cosiness. It truly is quite surprising how much of a difference a colourful blanket can make.
In any case I always have a selection around the home – they come in so handy to wrap up in on a cold night or to add a bit of a colour nuance at different times of the year. I love light colours in summer – especially for sitting outside late at night. Then in winter I love the darker colours which I tend to match with whatever colour Christmas decorations I have chosen for that year.
This year I have gone for a dark burgundy as Christmas decorations – loving the paisley blanket as it complements the burgundy notes perfectly.
