Hi Everyone,

Today’s post is partially dedicated to a dear friend of mine who used to live in Zurich, is now in New Zealand and I know at the bottom of her heart just pining to be back here for a little Winter Christmas spirit.

1 . Seeing the lights and Christmas decorations downtown Zurich is always such an amazing feeling – I never get tired…here a few pictures to get you in the mood too…

Pegasus – My favourite shop for finding unique Christmas nic-nacs.

EnSoie – In my opinion the best place to buy a real unique Zurich present for someone – I love their china and scarves in particular.

 

2. Candle Making

I used to visit this candle making tent at Bürkliplatz  for days on end when my daughter was smaller – I now miss it.

Standing around pots of hot wax dipping candles for hours on end…

 

3. Christmas Cookie Baking

Advent just wouldn’t be the same without baking cookies. Check out HERE for recipes of some of my favourites

Make sure your cookies are very cold before baking.
