Inspired by the drizzly weather currently in Zurich, I decided to trail through my Summer 2020 fashion week photos and hawl out the interesting trench/ duster coat outfits.
It’s always fun to go back over previous fashion weeks and spot the trends. When it comes to trench coats this Summer a lot is about playing with colour, especially yellow, orange and green. Plenty of long oversized coats were seen, however the classic knee length look also featured. Plastic or leather look fabrics are clearly up on the trend list this Summer 2020.
If you want to create a really put together look try to team your trench with another piece of your outfit – this way instead of simply being a functional trench, it becomes the trench that completes the outfit.

I so love the two yellow ones. And your green one by the way. Fortunately I have an awesome off-white trenchcoat and as I don’t wear a coat very often in summer I will keep it at that. Enough coats in the wardrobe.
The girl on the photo with the above the knee trench in creamy grey has awfully skinny legs.
