10 Trends you need to know for Fall 2017

Having just visited Fashion Week Berlin there’s so much news to share. It’s the first fashion week  where I experienced every season in one week. We may be in Summer right now but Fall is right around the corner and even for those cooler or rainy Summer days it’s good to know what’s trending for Fall.

10 Top Trends you need to know for Fall 2017

1. Dusky Pink and Grey

Two colours we’ll be seeing on the streets so make sure you have some in your wardrobe.

2. Puffer Jackets are here to stay, including faux Fur

Emphasis though being on the top trend colours and making sure your jacket teams up with other items in your overall outfit.

3. Soft Scarves

Scarves are always on trend for cooler months but the emphasis is in the softness and how they are styled – mostly with the bulk of the scarf in front.

4. Spots

There’s going to be a lot of spots out there so if you love them go for it! Particularly hot are spotted rain coats with matching gumboots!

5. Jumpers with Ribbons down the sides

A relatively new trend we saw come into the stores last Fall is here to stay!

6. Jeans with Ribbons

I’ve fallen in love with this trend and already ordered a pair myself!

7. Khaki Jackets

Yawn, been there awhile now I know but they are here to stay so keep yours ready. In fact Khaki as a colour in general is here to stay.

8. Trousers with a stripe down the side

A new trend that’s in the stores this Summer is moving along right into Fall too.

9. Embroidery

For all you lovers of embroidered jeans, it’s another continuing trend next Fall.

10. Printed Jumpers

Summer saw us wearing printed t-shirts for any occasion including dressed up. Fall sees the same happening with jumpers.

 

My New Fall Outfit

Day 2 was cooler at Berlin Fashion Week so I used it to my advantage as a good excuse to wear my new Fall outfit from Zabaione:
