10 Top Fall/Winter 23/24 Trends Spotted on the Max Mara Runway

It never ceases to amaze how when one is in the midst of fashion week the actual trends seem to escape and I have no idea. Yet sitting in the office reviewing runway show pictures a couple of months later the trends appear so obvious.

Even more interesting after fashion weeks is to realise how the very same trends can be spotted throughout all of the major shows of the season. The Max Mara Fall/Winter 23/24 show is the perfect example of showcasing the top trends spotted throughout fashion week in February this year.

As a summary we see long gloves featuring huge. Especially beautiful when worn with bustier tops. Bustier tops being another trend. Worn either as is, with a white shirt underneath or teamed with a thin turtle neck sweater.

Keep your coats long and potentially oversize this coming Fall/Winter. Hooded coats being a lovely new hype. Statement corset belts are almost a must have accessory – Milan has been trying to introduce these for a few seasons however this coming Fall they will surely be popular on the high street too. Double breasted blazers, long floaty trousers and the trusty shorts/ short skirts are here to stay. The same applies to bulky boots – so if you have a nice pair look after them!

Last but not least Fall/Winter 23/24 sees the introduction of colourful maxi knit cable dresses – such a fun trend and sure to keep you warm.
